SST Technology presents on the Integration of Metal Additive Manufacturing into high integrity Metallic Structures
New exhibitor to DSEI, SST Technology work from defining Design Concepts through to delivering production hardware, and integrate many complex design and manufacturing technologies to deliver high performance parts.
Additive Manufacturing is becoming an increasingly robust and flexible tool at its disposal, the company uses the manufacturing process’ advantages to optimise the design and topology, reduce lead times, reduce tooling investment and in many places reduce part count through smart integration which can lead to cost reduction for the end user.
SST Technology primarily works with high nickel alloys such as Inconel 625, a material which is comfortable operating above 1000deg C because most of the structures they manufacture are used in hot environments such as ducting and pipework.
For more information at DSEI, please make sure you come and listen to SST Technology’s Engineering Director Nick Henry give a presentation on this very topic at the Innovation Hub Theatre on Thursday 12th September at 15.30pm. Miss this and see the SST Team in the Innovation Hub stand IH11 who will have a selection of samples and happy to discuss your requirements.
