Due to our continuing business growth we are seeking to recruit for the following roles:

 

Purchasing and MRP Specialist

This is a new role within the dynamic environment of SST Technology, and will be within our supply chain team with responsibility for leading all direct and indirect purchases required by the Programmes team. The role will work closely within the Operations team to execute Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) modules for established programmes alongside proactive and NPI related requirements for this value stream.
We are looking for a candidate who is great at building internal and external relationships, we would expect around 5 years of experience in a similar role in related industries but importantly someone who is hungry to develop their career and complement it with professional qualifications.

 

Production/Industrialisation Engineer

This is a role within the dynamic environment of SST Technology, providing a key link between Design and Production, where you will be responsible for the production engineering initiatives and development of processes within our insulation manufacturing department.  Working closely with the Engineering, Quality and Production teams you will ensure that new products are introduced successfully and robustly onto the shop floor.  You will be responsible to ensure existing products are managed and continuously improved, ensuring that quality, manufacturing time and delivery targets are achieved, and identifying and implementing opportunities to introduce step-changes in all areas of a given project’s life-cycle.

You should be a highly capable, confident individual who has a good understanding of the Design, Production and Quality requirements of the business and an individual job, communicating well with all key stakeholders to deliver improved processes, quality and throughput of parts.

 

Design/Development Engineer

You will be responsible for the design and development of new products and internal developments.  You will be working with customers to understand requirements, and develop a solution that meets their technical and commercial requirements.  Concurrently, you will be responsible for liaising with all key stakeholders in the business, including supply chain, production and quality, to ensure that these products are manufactured and delivered to the customer’s requirements, often in challenging timeframes.  Projects may range from motorsport applications with lead times of less than 3 weeks, through to longer term customer or internal development projects, with longer lead times but of greater scale.
You should be a highly capable individual with good attention to detail, methodical approach, a good Engineering background with a sound understanding of fundamental Engineering principles, and a desire to deliver the best possible solution at all times.

 

CNC Tube Bending Operators / Technicians 

Experienced Operator/Technicians who can operate and set NC and/or CNC tube bending machines. 

 

Graduate Technicians

You will have a higher level vocational qualification and be interested in the development and manufacture of new products and processes for the motorsport industry. This role requires a very practical approach and the successful candidate will need to have a high level of talent and commitment.

 

Skilled Fabricators / Sheet Metal Workers

Experience of working with high grade metal alloys (Inconel and Titanium) is essential. We expect a high standard of quality, good productivity and flexibility to meet the needs of the business.   

 

CNC Machinist / Programmers

As our internal CNC machine shop facility expands running the latest Mazak 5 axis milling and high speed turning tools. We are looking for individuals to set, operate and program this machinery to a very high standard. To be able to produce high end components using the Machine Tools to dimensional accurate drawings within scheduled timescales.
